About Me
My name is David Kane, 28 years old and based in Glasgow Scotland.
I pride myself in my friendly, fun, modern and professional manner. In September 2008 I began studying towards a professional qualification in photography at the Glasgow Metropolitan College. I hope to complete this in the next 2 years and move into photography full time.
I enjoy all types of photography but especially enjoy portraiture and beauty work.
I am happiest when surrounded by a creative team and in a studio environment, although I do enjoy the challenge and adventure of location work.
My friends and I regularly go on little trips and look for fun locations or beautiful landscapes to shoot. This has taken us all over Scotland and even as far as Egypt on a recent trip.
I use a variety of camera’s, depending on the situation: -
- Canon Digital EOS 400D SLR as my main camera. Using the standard 18-55mm lens normally and occasionally the 70-300mm.
- Pentax 35mm Film P30T SLR as my main film camera. I mainly use this with black and white film and for candid shots during shoots.
- Polaroid Supercolour 635 for fun shots during shoots.
- Lomography fisheye 2 and Actionsampler 35mm film cameras. Also used for fun and candid shots during shoots.
I am very active online feel free to add, comment, message and follow me on any of them. You can access these via the buttons on the home page.
Thanks for all your continued support,
David Kane
