David Kane Photography - About Me

My name is David Kane, 27 years old and based in Glasgow, Scotland. I pride myself in my friendly, fun, modern and professional manner and in September 2008 begun studying towards a professional qualification in photography.

I am happy: -

- Working with both professionals and amateurs, everyone starts somewhere.
- Working on a location or in a studio. However studio work is preferred.
- Working with males, females, couples. When a model is under the age of 18 however, restrictions apply and a parent or guardian MUST both be present and have signed a release for us to work together.
- Working to ALL levels, on location, at your home or in a studio.
- Photographing all styles of photography, although please note I only cover weddings as a reportage photographer.
- To have chaperones/parents/friends on a shoot but if it is studio based please limit the number to 3 max... Any more can be distracting.
- To shoot content for websites provided it is paid/paid on acceptance and the contract is FAIR!
- To travel internationally and have a valid passport. However, travel expenses must be paid.

I currently have access to lighting equipment for location work. However, these are not portable lights, it must be indoor and power supplied. I currently do not have backdrop equipment. I always supply a CD of the final images (Unless otherwise agreed). The images come in small resolution, for web use. In colour and in B+W. I can then forward on prints/high resolution images as required. I have a 2 week turnaround period for editing images. Please note that I cannot guarantee photo's are ready before this unless we agree otherwise prior to the shoot. On a final note, please understand that all my work is copyrighted and that unauthorized use is prohibited. If you wish to use an image in publishing, please contact me!
